Description:

The Evening grosbeak is a songbird in the finch family Fringillidae. Compact, short tail, and strong bill. Mostly orange-yellow with black wings and large white patches on the back. Yellow forehead.

Habitat:

Spotted at Lake Easton State Park. Coniferous forest.
