Field Notes

Description:

brownish/grey, white stripe down each side of its body

Habitat:

small rainforested mountain

Notes:

I spotted this on top of Clarence mountain, near the village of Aranaputa. This was the most co operative lizard I have ever photographed. I was able to get within about 1cm of it. I think it was mesmerized by seeing it's reflection in my camera lense. You can see how small it was in the last photos, in the centre.

Still stunned from the meteor he rode in on? Great close up.
