hi seahalcyon... it was prickly !! so I think your right seems to be quite a few small sitka's in the nehalem state park which is my location... the search map seems to put me all over the place!!!! thanks
looks like a spruce (probably Sitka). grab a branch; is it prickly? the cones will tell you too.
no I didn't natashagr33n, I did not see any cones and never thought to lookat bark!!!! will have to go back ,its just down the road a ways . thankyou for your comment!
