Description:
Vine w/fragrant tubular flowers, white turning yellow w/age, in pairs in the leaf axils. Flowers 3.8cm long. Leaves to 7.5 cm long, opposite ovate, untoothed evergreen & hairy. Twigs hairy also. Fruit a black berry. Flowers April-July, sometimes in fall.
Habitat:
Woodlands, roadsides, etc.
Notes:
Reportedly from Asia. Can grow 9 m per year. A sweet nectar can be sucked from the base of the corlla.
