Habitat:

This turtle lives on Caladesi Island. It is a small island with a beach and lots of hiking trails that have rattlesnakes and other animals.

It's amazing how many other animals rely on Gopher Tortoise burrows for habitat. Entire communities of animals held together by a hole in the ground dug by a turtle.
