Description:

Adult male visiting feeder

Habitat:

~8000 ft. elevation mixed forest in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Mexico. Hotel Barrancos Cobre terrace, near the Divisadero station of the railroad.

Notes:

Our tour included an avid birdwatcher from Texas, who called this bird to our attention.
