Habitat:

Pond. This is a spring-fed farm pond.

Notes:

We first noticed a lot of trees felled by the beaver in August of 2011. That was a bad drought year and a lot of surrounding ponds had dried up. I saw the beaver out in the daytime in January of 2012, and then it must have moved on; I haven't seen any sign of it since.
