Description:

I'm pretty sure it's a sparrow of some sort. I checked both Baird's Sparrow and Savannah Sparrow, but neither seemed quite right.

Habitat:

North Pond, Chicago, IL

I believe that this is actually a Song Sparrow, Lincoln's would have much finer streaking on the sides and back (the most differentiating field mark on this bird), be noticeably buff on the sides, and have a small crest (evident on most birds)
Yes, I think you're both right. And the map I found says that they migrate through Chicago, so that would make a ton of sense. :)
I second that looks like a Lincoln's.
