Description:

Great Horned Owls - Adult and Owlet. Spotted on the Audubon Trail section of the Colorado River Trail system in Grand Junction, Colorado on the morning of May 15th, 2011 at about 9am.

Notes:

This pair was seen in a tree about 100 yards from the nest., which originally had 3 owlets. The young ones have been venturing from the nest for the last couple of weeks.
