Field Notes

Description:

The Bobcat is about 26-36 inches and its tail is 5 inches. The tail is black ontop only and the fur varies from dark to light. It has a spotted belly. The sports are more conspicuous than on a Lynx. They are essentially solitary animals.

Habitat:

Canyon country, chaparral, forests, swamps. This were located in the Grand Canyon National Park.
