Description:

The Java Sparrow is 17 cm in length. The adult is unmistakable, with its grey upperparts and breast, pink belly, white-cheeked black head, red eye-ring, pink feet and thick red bill.

Carolina, I was also confused after reading the description, but found out that there *are* white versions of this lovely sparrow, especially bred for pets! So it might be an escapee, or just a naturally occurring rarity :) Either way, what a pretty photo, nice shot!!
Is this a baby or why it is white?
