Field Notes

Notes:

I thinki Canada geese are well known enough that they don't need a description! I found a nice little family with a mummy and a daddy and four little babies next to the lake on the campus of my university. The goslings were adorable!

For sure, Dan! I don't think I could visit Ontario and not stop by Niagara anyway :D
Cool, well, let me know if you make it to the Falls.
I haven't been for a while, the last time I went was in 2009. But I am dying to go back, I miss my friends, family and my local wildlife ;) I'm saving up to go back for a visit next summer!
You're from Canada, eh?! Cool! Yeah, its nice to have some friendly faces! Do you ever come visit Canada?
Thanks guys! Dan, I was just as surprised :) I'm from Ottawa, and when we moved to the UK when I was 13, it was nice to have some friendly, feathered faces! But yes, they've made their way over most of Europe as Marta says!
Oh, yes, they are now all over Europe. They come to Belgium as well :-)
Love these guys, thanks for sharing!
Nice pics! I didn't know canada geese were in the UK but I just read about them and they have expanded their range naturally all the way to Europe and even China and Japan. They are lots of them living right around the falls in Niagara, I see them everyday.
