Description:

Beetle from Chrysomelidae family.

Green beetle, with black legs and antennae. Females can range in colour from green to purplish-grey. It measures 7-11 mm long, being the females bigger. The head is frequently hidden under the pronotus showing only the short antennae which have nine segments.

Adults feed on meant leaves, stems and even flowers.

Habitat:

Spotted at the wet side of a local road with plenty of mint plants.
