Cool! When in doubt, trust the field guide :P
Wonder no more! This is a juvenile Green Keelback. I found it in A Photographic Guide to Snakes and other reptiles of Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. It's a great compact field guide for the area. The common name and latin names don't match up with wikipedia, so I am sticking with the names in the book. Thanks for your comments Laura!
Wow, beautiful colours... It's amazing how that gradient from pink to lime green to a purple-brown actually makes it disappear into the forest floor. I wonder what kind of snake it is?
