Field Notes

Description:

Dark brown becoming lighter towards the end of the wings. Underwings are mainly light brown with yellow. It's black spot has one white spot inside.
Hard to distinguish between leaves and branches.

Habitat:

Forest (not dense) on a mountain range near the sea. Around 260m high (unsure).

Notes:

Found this one during a family picnic.
