Field Notes

Description:

The topside is a dark grayish brown with two irregular rows of white spots, differently sized on each row, across its wings.

Habitat:

From North Carolina south through the Gulf states and further southward through South America.

Notes:

This specimen was viewed just off the Sim Trail in Congaree National Park and was captured with a 300mm lens on a tripod.
