Description:

Of course these are made by American bison (not bona fide buffaloes), but this would be the more common name. These have not become large landscape features yet, but with continued use they could. Read more here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_wallow

Habitat:

Prairie State Park - Mindenmines, MO.
