This guy has what looks like a scar around his back. Long hair in the back and short hair in the front

Habitat:

Surrounded by maple trees in an urban area.

Notes:

Likes peanuts. Pretty tame.

Yes Nicholas its very beautiful mammal. I really amazed to know a squirrel can be black.
How cute! When I lived in North Dakota, we had a few black squirrels come to our bird feeder. Now that I live in North Carolina, I haven't really seen any.
