Yeah, I noticed the white stripe and found that to be a bit of a conflict. The second photo on that page doesn't show the stripe, but the camera angle could be wrong. This appears to be a nymph stage, where it could or might not have a stripe. I looked at all the "green grass" type grasshoppers I could find from your area and this was the best match I found. Regardless, those are great photos; well done.

Gordon, It really looks like that but it lacks the white stripe on the abdomen. If no one else has any ideas I will go with that name. Thanks so much!
