Description:

The flowers are lilac in color and are produced in whorls on the top of the stems, with the upper lip curled up. Large heart-shaped leaves grow off a central stalk. It grows up to 3 feet.

Clary sage has a history of use as a medicinal herb, flavoring agent, and aromatic.
