Wing Span: 3 1/4 - 4 1/2 inches (8.2 - 11.5 cm). (Fairly large in size)

Notes:

Nurtrition: Nectar from flowers
Was seen on a banana tree leaf after a particularly rainy night in monsoon season.

Eumorpha pandorus is restricted to North America and has not been recorded elsewhere. A close relative, Daphnis nerii, however, is in range, and matches with what you have found. Excellent find!
