Description:

The male is showy with red markings on the head..the female looks like a little brown bird!

I see other postings of House Finches today...so I thought I would toss mine into the mix....they seem to be abundant here right now...and they sing such a pretty song.

It could be better...I was walking Mango when I saw it and had to hold her leash with one had and the camera with the other! Such a pretty boy though.
