Description:

These two Eastern Painted Turtles were found in a lake in Connecticut basking on rocks and logs, they were released back right after the photograph. The turtles had a yellow plastron (bottom of shell) and yellow and red stripes throughout its body.

Habitat:

Lake with plenty of other creatures (land and water) and lots of plants to eat, rocks and logs to bask on and a lot of sunlight for constant heat.
