Description:

They are kept in pond at a religious place, where people come and take their bath, before entering the temple. So they cannot be "sharks"

I don't want to declare them as barbel, only saying they're similar :) They do have a lot of carp-like qualities as well, but generally carp have a longer dorsal fin, usually around 1/3 to 1/2 the length of their back
I think these are Aquarium Sharks. I see some places Greenish yellow.
OK that's cool to know about the dark ones even, but shall we declare the bigger, green ones to be Barbel ??
the smaller, darker fish are more similar to carp than the larger fish
Look like some sort of carp to me, though I can't get much further than that at the moment.
Well i guess it is good that they are not sharks then :) They look related to catfish
The look similar to Barbel with their down-turned mouth and thick lips. Barbel are similar to carp.
at first i, even thought the same. But they are kept in pond at a religious place, where people come and take their bath, before entering the temple, so they cannot be Sharks .............hahahah ;-)
