Hmm... still not sure. It did grow fairly tall, like catnip. Probably should have taken some follow-up shots later in the season

Oh right I didn't see your description until now. Generally you can tell by taste smell and flower color and patterns. Did you give it a try? It looks more like domestic peppermint to me here is a web site with very good photos of catnip holoweb.com/cannon/catnip.htm
Yes, obviously, but what kind? I suspect it's catnip, not the kind of mint you'd want to brew in your tea
