Field Notes

Habitat:

Found on a pokeweed plant. On the edge of a mixed forest.

Notes:

The second photo shows another insect fly towards the leaf the fungus gnat is resting on. The third photo is of the smaller fly. It's quite a bit smaller and I think it might be the male.
