Yeah, no worries, I looked up locals and it most closely resembles a Fowler's toad from the pictures I saw online but I wasn't sure. I'd just never seen one before, let alone two together.
not mean to be rude. Often times you determine which species of critter you have by looking at a range map. It's a bit complicated with toads, because the taxonomy has come under scrutiny recently.
