Field Notes

Description:

It is olive brown to greenish above and white below. A white-yellowish stripe extends from eyes to the lower back on either side. Another pale stripe runs along the sides between the lips and under the eardrum to the groin. The region between the two stripes along the sides is reddish-brown.

Habitat:

This small species is partial to water. They are active at night found on thick vegetation and waterlillies. They feed on grasshopers, spiders, mosquitoes and small beetles.
