Description:

this insect is around 2.5" long and half of its length is its snout. if you look closer, you will find the tiny white eyes above the legs at mid body..

British Museum friend ID it .....Thru INBIO in Costa Rica .... acuallya a Fulgoridae. not a Dictyopharidae
