Spotted this at Short Hills Provincial Park.

Southern Toad

Assuming the taxonomy hasn't changed it's an American Toad, Bufo americanus.
I don't think its a southern toad, this was found in Canada.
Really weird.. it looks to me like a southern toad... but this was found in New England, Right? I live in SC and have caught these things by hand
