Description:

These 40 cm parrots are nowadays very ubiquitous in Belgium. They have managed to survive the cold winters and have successfully bred in here. They may come from domestic stocks from zoos but at some point they became feral species. They are tropical in origin. Wild species originally found in Africa and Asia. They can learn to talk and make nice pets too.

Habitat:

Trees, forests, cities.
