Description:

this was a large insect.....almost 7-8 cms long. it was able to stay in flight for a short time was attracted to the light emitted from a tubelight.

Habitat:

it was mid- monsoons, heavy showers. found this insect around our hut. the vegetation around our hut was moderate.
