Field Notes

Description:

Larvae are about 2-3mm long, black. Eggs are bright yellow.

Habitat:

Woodland habitat.

Notes:

These hatched larvae went right over to the unhatched eggs and it appeared they were eating them. I went back two days later, and that seems to be exactly what happened.
