Field Notes

Description:

Forewings were tan-yellow with two hot pink bands crossing the outer half of wings. It also had 2 pink spots in the median area of the wings. This moth had very plumose antennae, indicating that it is a male.

Habitat:

Under a light on the side of a house in a rural area.
