Field Notes

Description:

Common Bluebird for the west. Male has blue head, parts of the wings and tail. Shoulders, chest and flanks are rusty color. Eye ring and grey belly and undertail. Some males may vary on degree of color on the chest and belly. Females are similar but the colors faded.

Habitat:

Open mixed woodland. Plenty of space to dive for insects.

Notes:

This day at the park there was a large number of Bluebirds. Many landed really close to me
