Thank you! And I agree... I see many seagulls with fishing line and hooks attached to them, so sad and sometimes very difficult to help with.
Good for you...I've never seen a baby that close, so it's really good to see. I was just thinking about how often I see birds with fishing line tangled or hooked on them. Nice pic.
It is definitely a young osprey. She had fishing wire wrapped around her wings and I brought her into a veterinarian that is well-versed in birds of prey.
This looks so strange ...is it a baby? Why is it on the ground?
