Field Notes
Description:
Numerous light brown/beige mushrooms, probably of order Agaricales. The largest individuals are ~ 30 mm high. Caps ~ 5 mm high and ~ 22 mm diameter. Stems ~ 3 mm diameter at the base, tapering quickly to ~ 2 mm diameter.
Habitat:
Suburban neighborhood on tropical upland plateau.
Notes:
Spotted in partially grassy area between a paved walk and a building in a suburban development. Images include an overview of the spotting site, two groups of mushrooms and three close-up views of a harvested individual.
