Field Notes

Description:

It has a red body and black wings. Front wing very elongated and has pale grayish stripes in distal parts of veins. Both sides of hind wings have a large white area made up of five elongated spots. Another series of red spots along the margin.

Habitat:

Prefers open, cultivated areas, scrub and forests.
