man, thank you so much. id never seen one before and you can imagine my surprise when i turn and its a foot away from my face. what a menacing looking dude.
Its a Dobsonfly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dobson_fly I learned this from Noah, as I posted one earlier.
