Hi Rian, this does not look like a White-collared Kingfisher as it has a brown ear patch and shows brown on the flanks. I think it is a Common Kingfisher. The White-collared has a deeper white collar extending all round the neck, no brown at all, a thicker, longer bill and is very much larger.
