Description:

Red-eared sliders get their name from the distinctive red mark around their ears. The "slider" part of their name comes from their ability to slide off rocks and logs and into the water quickly.

Notes:

this is now my pet

I would define anything domestic as a pet: bird, lizard, turtle, etc. Captive animals in zoos are not definitely not pets. Stray dogs and cats which have no owners are a grey area, but are likely mammals.
Categorisation is puzzling me a bit :) for example a *stray* dog - is it a mammal or pet? same with this terrapins - does habitat define the category?
He's almost twice as big now, as big as the center palm minus the finger.. i have small hands though
Remember to categorize them as "Pets"
Ooops I didn't notice the first picture.. I see how small they are :)
