Description:

Black beetle with a rounded pronotum and elytra. The elytra has a raised surface consisting of ridges and bumps. Typically this species has yellow hairs on the pronoun but this one is bare (denuded). The second image shows the it next to a blow fly for size comparison.

Habitat:

It was on a dead rabbit carcass.
