Field Notes

Description:

This sider belongs to the Trechaleidae family. I couldn't identify it at the genre level. This one had more or less 5 cm, but there were in several sizes. No more than 6 cm. There were one or two over each stone in the bottom of the river.

Habitat:

I found this spider over a stone, in a river that crosses the Yungas Rain Forest in northern Argentina.
