Field Notes

Description:

Upper side bright yellow with front wing apex black. Prominent oval shining blue patch on upper side of hind wing. Underside greyish buff finely marked with brown bands and lines.

Habitat:

Flies close to the ground, Prefers sunny places. Fond of dry stony riverbed, uncultivated areas.
