Sundarbans in East coast of India and state is West Bengal close to Kolkata city. Ranthambhor National park is in Rajasthan state almost about on West edge of India(http://wikimapia.org/#lat=26.0367334&lon=76.4325714&z=13&l=0&m=b).
We were in Ranthambore for a day in which we saw all the animals except the big cats at the water hole. No luck with Tigers. I also enjoyed the historical aspect of the park . there are almost 300 species of birds in that park. So about 25 species only.
Are the Sunder-bans nearby?
i heard that they have beautiful birds too.....

@ Emma .... I spend two days (4 safaris), in which I spotted 3 tigers and 1 Leopard :)
