Field Notes

Description:

Both sexes have pale orange wing with black marginal borders. Black upper front wings have a subapical white band of elongated spots. Hind wing has 3-4 black spots. Thorax black with white spots.

Habitat:

It flies slowly close to the ground. Known to migrate. Can be seen throughout the year.
