Description:

Photo taken at dusk. This is a mid-sized song bird with a length of 21 cm. The bright red feathers and dark black eye mask distinguish it from a female.

Habitat:

At the top of the tree near a lake, where it was calling quickly and then moving on to a different tree.

Notes:

Not much sun left in the day this photo was taken.
