Good eye Dan! The flowers are similar to Snapdragon, but it's actually Linaria vulgaris. It's an introduced species from Eurasia. I'm not sure why it's called butter-and-eggs....I don't see the resemblance.
I think its a snapdragon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon
