Thank you, Thank you, that is the lizard I saw in Italy outside one of our hotels. Before my Noah days, now I keep a camera handy.
Most likely an Italian wall lizard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_wall_lizard Thee are lots of subspecies for these guys.
