Field Notes

Description:

This goatfish I have also seen in Thailand. They are no more than 20 cm long. Red freckles and a longitudinal band through their body.

Habitat:

Usually very close to sandy bottom where they rest. I think they find food in the sand (hiding animals) so you can mostly see them there.
